Rumah Purnama, or The House of Full Moon, is an approximately 100 year old heritage Balinese wantilan (pavilion) villa, beautifully restored and renovated by Studio Jencquel. Overlooking the lush tropical jungle, the villa has spectacular moonrise views, hence the name. The villa sits facing the sacred Campuhan ridge, a location spiritually significant to Balinese hindus as an energy center. The villa does justice to it’s magnificent surroundings by keeping the interiors minimalist and the colors and materials organic – a gentle homage to the greater beauty outside.
