Vill’Alcina

I chanced upon Marina Denisova‘s photography portfolio and discovered the atmospheric Vill’Alcina. Built in 1970’s by architect Sergio Fernandez, where Portugal borders with the Spanish region of Galicia, the two identical homes are in complete synchronicity with the land they are built upon. Whether it’s the architecture or the materials or the composition, they have stood the test of time and continue to be a part of the surrounding landscape.
