Shelter Island Home
This disarmingly minimalist and beautiful home in Shelter Island was originally built in the 1940’s. The current owners Nick Gavin and Katrin Thornmann, worked with the design firm Workstead to retain the original structure and beautiful features like pine-paneled cathedral ceilings, and update it to work well for their family and modern living. The home is a functional and visual delight, with a subtle beach home vibe.
