  1. I would wear this skirt in defiance of Chicago winters, as a rush of color drenched protest in a city perpetually steeped in shades of gray. xo

  2. I, who once lived in long floaty skirts and now fallen into the rut of easy-peasy pants and jeans will rescue my legs from the confines they've been in and wear this skirt everywhere. I'd wear it to the school run and to the beach (but not to the fish market). I'd wear it to parties with a little something on top. The colours are gorgeous and I think I'd feel equally luscious too.

  3. All I can think of when I see this beautiful skirt, is an outdoor food festival at night with bright lights, music, good food & friends and lots of laughter.

  4. My grandmother use to make beautiful long layered skirts in brightest of colours in Rajasthan for me when I was little. I think, I will wear this skirt to surprise my grandmother and relive a bit of a tradition and memories with her.

  10. I love long skirts and I collect them from everywhere and wear them every chance I get – from pandal hopping at Durga Puja time to over a swimsuit. I just noticed I don't have a Gujarati one. So, I'd wear this one Gujarati style. With a backless choli I have which is in the same colour. After all, if the outfit is ready, the place will present itself 😉

  13. This beautiful skirt can be worn on a winter and summer day. I will make it work at work or on a weekend. It is so luscious and has such a versatile appeal, that I am afraid I will wear it so often that the threads would start coming off. Doesn't really matter, because I will fix those and wear it again 🙂 … Jahnabee

You whisper to the summer moon
And brighter than the sun you shine.
