Leveraging the tradition and technique of Indian miniature paintings, Jethro Buck‘s art, explores nature and celebrates life and beauty. Jethro is based in Cambridge, UK and his fascination with the Indian miniature style led him to study the art form under the tutelage of master painter Ajay Sharma in India. Using hand ground natural pigments, his art work is a beautiful blend of traditional style and technique, with a contemporary narrative. Having grown up appreciating the school of Indian miniature paintings, I love the unexpected elements in Jethro’s art, and his dedication to the technique.
