I had seen one or two odd pictures, here and there, from this stunning home and had wondered what the entire home must be like. What grabbed my attention was the bright & colorful furnishings, the well worn, reclaimed furniture, tribal accents, extensive use of natural materials – all looking striking against the pristine ivory backdrop. So when I stumbled upon an article in Architectural Digest Spain about this home and it’s gorgeous owner Eugenia Silva, I admit, I jumped a little and may have also clapped my hands. And as I am wont to do, I did my research and gathered together my favorite rooms and nooks from not just Silva’s home in Formentera, but also from her home in Extremadura.

I so needed this splash of color this Wednesday. Hope it brightened up your day too!
